Richard Howe
Advisor - Marketing & Energy business

An Honours graduate of King’s College London, Richard Howe started his career with Unilever and spent his first professional years in advertising and marketing positions in London, before joining British American Tobacco in 1976. After nearly thirty years with the Group, having held four senior General Manager positions in three continents viz. Africa, Sri Lanka, Russia including three years as non-executive Chairman of BAT Cameroon. He founded Runyard Consulting (IOM) Ltd in 2004. Runyard advises foreign investors, especially in energy like D1 Oils plc, Helius Energy; In Mining Industry viz Geovic Mining Corp, Afferro Mining Inc, Legend Mining and industry generally in general viz Jindal Steel and Power, Diageo, Guinness etc. He spearheads the UKIGB Investment portfolio

Siddharth Kaul
Advisor - Finance & Investment

Siddharth has been a risk and finance professional for sixteen years working with various multinational companies holding senior roles in both the buy and sell side of financial services. Siddharth was the Chief Risk Officer at Cairn Capital, one of Europe's largest asset management firms with $26 billion in assets under management and long term advice in real estate and bonds. He was previously Senior Risk Manager at GAM, an investment management company with $68 Billion assets under management where he launched the global macro fund strategy, and the Head of Pricing and Modelling at UBS Investment Bank where he project managed one of the bank's largest IT outsourcing projects.

Siddharth holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Imperial College and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Subhash Bhatnagar
Advisor - Strategy

Subhash Bhatnagar is an alumnus of IIT, Madras and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA). Currently he is an adjunct professor at the IIMA. He was a Chair Professor of Information System, member of Board of Governors and the Dean in his 30 year tenure at IIMA.

He served as an advisor to the World Bank in Washington DC for six years to mainstream e-Government in the lending operations of the Bank. Later he served as an advisor to the National Institute of SMART Governance for 6 years

He has hundred research papers and seven books to his credit. He has been on the editorial boards of seven international journals and has served as Chairman of International Committees in the ICT field. He has served on a number of central and state government committees in India. He has also been a member of governing and advisory boards of a number of organizations in public/private and education sectors. He has travelled widely, delivering public lectures and conference key notes.

Avinash Sankholkar
Advisor - Transformational Deals

Avinash is senior advisor with UK India Global Business, based at Mumbai, India focussing on Transformational Deals. He has more than four decades of experience working globally in multi-cultural environment. He has severed Larsen & Toubro (L&T) group of companies, an engineering conglomerate with revenues of more than 15 B $, in various capacities and was lately responsible for the Digitalisation of the Engineering and Construction business. His current areas of interest include advisory services to SMEs to discover and explode latent strengths by leveraging enterprise technology plaforms.

His current portfolio includes:

  • Director, Maharashtra Enviro Power Ltd
  • Director (& Hon. Treasurer) IIT Bombay, Alumni Association Board

His rich experience includes following assignments:

  • Vice President, System Integration and CIO L&T Infotech

  • Executed until implementation Technology projects in USA, Europe, Asia & India

By qualification he is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Bombay and spent initial professional carrier in executing turnkey Chemical Plants & Systems projects. Subsequently, he focused on Information Technology and Enterprise system deployments and leveraging them to maximise the returns of Engineering business.

He pioneered and steered L&T’s entry into Turnkey IT& Technology systems projects. Also, he headed the Infrastructure Management Services business which is now a highly profitable venture. Moreover, he was part of L&T top leadership team responsible for driving the organisation through exponential growth and grooming the young executives.

He is closely associated with start-ups. Currently he is an advisor to few ventures working on absolute new technologies ranging from Online Voice Translation to Artificial Intelligence.

He is also a visiting faculty at IIT Bombay and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and specialises in skill building
